She completed one year of Internal Medicine, followed by three years of Neurology Residency. \r\n\r\nDr. Marrero is very passionate about brain health and the integrative treatment of the person as a whole, taking into consideration the physical, emotional, nutritional, spiritual and environmental influences that contribute to health and brain wellness.\r\n\r\nAs a Neurologist, she treats brain disorders such as Epilepsy, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Movement Disorders, Headaches and Cognitive disorders, among others. Dr. Marrero is currently an instructor in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Neurology.
